“Black Dragons” and “Christmas Showdown” are two different storylines.
Returning to the present, Takemichi discovers for the second time that the Tokyo Manji Gang has grown to become a significant criminal enterprise as a result of absorbing the Black Dragons. Additionally, he finds out that the organization is still murdering his buddies. When he goes back in time, he discovers that Taiju, the current head of the Black Dragons and Hakkai’s domineering elder brother, forced Hakkai Shiba to quit the Tokyo Manji Gang and join the Black Dragons. The fusion of the Black Dragons and the Tokyo Manji Gang is impacted by this occurrence. He finds out this knowledge via going back in time. As long as Yuzuha, the Shiba brothers’ sister, is no longer employed by the Black Dragons and Taiju is not allowed to torture her, Mitsuya makes a deal with Taiju under which he would allows Hakkai to join. Mitsuya will allow Hakkai to join in exchange. Before bidding them farewell, Hakkai tells Takemichi and Chifuyu that Taiju has no intention of keeping his word and that he plans to kill him as soon as possible in order to free himself and Yuzuha. Then Hakkai bids them goodbye.

The Tokyo Manji Gang rejects Takemichi’s request for help because they do not want to violate the agreement since doing so would bring bad publicity to Mitsuya. Despite their best efforts, he and Chifuyu only manage to enlist the aid of Kisaki and Hanma. They learn via Koko and Inupi, two Black Dragons, that Hakkai plans to assassinate Taiju on December 24, 2005. They learn this material together. When Takemichi confronts them on December 24th, he learns that Kisaki and Hanma have betrayed and abandoned him. Contrarily, Chifuyu escapes and enlists Mitsuya as a comrade in their struggle against Taiju.

Takemichi understands that in the earlier version of events, Kisaki had forced Yuzuha to murder Taiju, and as a result, Hakkai was obliged to take responsibility for her and obey him. Takemichi learns that Yuzuha had slain Taiju in the previous timeline after unintentionally saving Taiju’s demise. Hakkai is persuaded by Takemichi to confront Taiju in order to protect Yuzuha, and the Black Dragons are finally defeated as a consequence of Mikey and Draken’s timely arrival. Koko and Inupi took over as co-leaders of the 11th generation of the Black Dragons after the disintegration of the 10th generation, and they joined the Tokyo Manji Gang as Takemichi’s subordinates. Following his discovery of the treacherous deed he perpetrated against them, Mikey excommunicates Kisaki from their group. Because to Mikey’s decision, the Tokyo Manji Gang’s membership is reduced by 350 people, including Hanma and the prior Moebius and Valhalla members.

arc of Tenjiku
Tenjiku had already absorbed the Tokyo Manji Gang during an event that became known as the “Kanto incident” by the time Takemichi returned to the present. Mikey was eager to kill all of his friends because he was so demoralized by this. Takemichi and Naoto both learned that Shinichiro founded the Black Dragons and that Kisaki was a member of it over the course of their research into Tenjiku. During the ambush by Tenjiku members, they both get fatal injuries, and Takemichi travels back in time to try to save their lives. Hinata overhears Takemichi mourning Naoto’s loss and learning that he had been traveling across time before his demise.

Takemichi learns that Izana Kurokawa, the leader of Tenjiku, is a close family friend of the Sanos, and as a consequence of his jealousy, he feels anger against Mikey. Given that Shinichiro had intended for Mikey to take over as the Black Dragons’ commander, this is especially true. Throughout this whole ordeal, Mucho and Sanzu, his deputy captain, have sided with Tenjiku, and Koko is forced to follow them as well. When Takemichi takes over as the Black Dragons’ commander, Inupi informs the Tokyo Manji Gang that Izana is preparing an attack on the group’s 11th anniversary, which occurs on February 22, 2006. Takemichi is moved by

Takemichi’s tenacity, and Inupi grants Takemichi the position of Black Dragons

commander. Since Mitsuya and the captain of the fourth division Smiley have been

severely injured by Kisaki and Hanma before the combat even starts, Takemichi

loses the support of the other captains on the day of their battle. Additionally,

when Mikey’s half-sister Emma dies, Kisaki is to blame, Mikey and Draken are

saddened. Despite this, Takemichi succeeds in organizing the remaining members

of the Tokyo Manji Gang to fight Tenjiku, despite the fact that Tenjiku has 400

members while the Tokyo Manji Gang only has 50.
